Story behind the feature
ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
Odoo proposes an advanced analytic account engine but does not propose a controlling dashboard, making the link between all the objects connected to this analytic account.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS
Cluedoo proposes a Controlling dashboard with:
- Information from all the objects related to your analytic account: sales orders, customer invoices, purchase orders, vendor bills, mission expenses, timesheets, general ledgers, productions, stocks, and budgets.
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) of your analytic account.
- Easy navigation from the controlling dashboard to any apps with predefined filters to analyze details behind data.

The key duties of a controller is to get data from all the departments, check the consistency of the data, and communicate with everybody to receive and transfer informatio, as well as give reports when it's required. The Controlling Dashboard is a key tool of the controller to do their job.
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
The Controlling Dashboard can be used at several levels:
- Basic: You get a realized figure for each analytic account.
- Advanced: By making an analytic account structure and analytic account budget, you can track the forecast vs. accrual at any level you want, from the macro point of view on the root project to the details of each specific analytic account.

How to use this module ?
Controlling -> Dashboard-> Click on a project
You will have a dashboard view of a project, which will help you to know:
- The number of hours spent for this project and its cost (from Timesheet)
- The total expense for this project (from Expense)
- Total Sales Order for this project (from Sales), ie: how much did you invoice?
Controlling -> Dashboard-> Click on a project
If you already created a budget for this project with the Project Budget Module and fill in T0, you can see another column showing the budget for the item.
Messaging box
The User can input notes inside the dashboard and the note itself will be available on the related project as a note (Send message/ Log note).
Changing notes is allowed in the dashboard and will be tracked by the messaging system on related projects.
Then, you can check the note on the related project.
Parent-Child Navigation
Controlling -> Dashboard -> Choose the record -> Dashboard -> Click "Parent and Childs"
This will show you the lists of related analytic accounts (Parent-Child).
Switch between the company currency and IFRS currency
Setup IFRS Currency under Company.
Controlling -> Dashboard. Click the button below in order to see the value in IFRS Currency.
