Odoo does not propose any advanced partner amount limit for sales nor purchases in order to lock new orders.

When you work on a credit limit, there are some recurrent questions, such as deciding if quotations are included or not, if orders to be invoiced are included or not, and so on.
In this module, Cluedoo gives the option to configure the notion of amount in order to match your needs.

On the customer form view, within the Sales & Purchases tab, we have the Credit Limit setting.
Sale Restriction: Percentage
Restrict Margin (%): 10%
Warning Margin (%): 20%
Credit Limit: $300.00

Restriction
If the total amount of the quotation has reached the restrict margin, it will restrict the sales person to confirm the sale. It will show the warning "Can not propose order due to customer credit limit".

Warning
As we already set 20% for the warning margin, it means if the customer has reached 80% of the credit limit, the sales person can still confirm the quotation, but the status will be "Wait Approval".
Stage Wait Approval is removed from the module.
