ODOO BEHAVIOR

Odoo proposes reordering rules basd on the max quantity: reordering quantity = Max quantity - Current quantity.

It ensures that your stock will move back to the max quantity but the quantity of your purchase order will never be the same (ie Max - Current Quantity).

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR

Cluedoo add the option re-ordering rules by Order quantity in order to fix the ordering quantity, and so simplify the communication with supplier. Reordering quantity = Max Quantity - Min Quantity, whatever is the current quantity. Current quantity is only used to launch the purchase request. It implies that your stock will not move back to the max but that your purchase order will be always with the same quantity.

It gives an extra option to manage stock reordering rule, and so more flexibility to your warehouse manager.

CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION

To be installed if your internal policy is reordering rules with fixed order quantity.

1.

Choose 'Order Quantity' as Reordering Mode and input the minimum and maximum quantity. It will automatically count the Re-ordering quantity. 
*The order quantity will always be the same (in this case it will be 9 units).
