ODOO BEHAVIOR
Odoo proposes note on sales order and in sales order line but does not propose an engine to manage pre-can comment. You can have a general default, a default by quotation template but not an engine to select the comment you need.

The notion of comment template gives you the possibility to address a special comment with a condition on the product and/or the customer.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

Go to Setting → Comment Template → Create new comment template
In v16 and onwards, it's called Detailed Description Template and Detailed Description HTML Template.
