Choose Alternative Component for Bill of Materials (BoM)
HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

On Manufacturing → Master Data → Bill of Materials (BoM), we can set an Alternative Component for BoM by clicking on a line.

It will show the BoM Lines wizard, where we can then select which product to be added as an alternative component, as well as also set the quantity.

Now create a manufacturing order; on the MO line, we now have a button to change the component.

A pop up will appear to change the component. Click the checklist button to select a component.

The component is now changed on MO line.
