Odoo does not provide a budget engine integrated with its Accounting app. A budget is not intuitive to construct and not easy to read.

Create Budget in Financial Report
HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

On Financial Report configuration, we have an option to "Show Budget". Click on this box.

Go to Accounting → Management → Budget. Create a new budget for Financial Reporting (e.g. Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.) and validate.

Go to Accounting → Reporting → Profit & Loss. Choose the "Budget" option and it will show the budget that we have just created.
