ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
In Odoo Standard, you can duplicate a product. However, you cannot duplicate the product with its respective BOM (Bill of Materials) at the same time.

You can duplicate a product with its respective BOM at the same time.

When you want to create a new series from an old one, the easiest way is to select "Duplicate with BOM" for each product from your old category. Then, you can adjust the new features of your new series (category, internal reference, price, and some BOM components). A full series can be created in one hour vs. several hours without this feature.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

On a product view, we have the option to "Duplicate (product) with BoM".

A confirmation message will pop up; click "OK".

The product is duplicated with its Bill of Material. The duplicated product will be displayed as "Product (copy)".
