STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
Odoo does not propose debtor risk management. There is no easy way to impose a credit limit nor customer blocks.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS
Cluedoo provides a method to put an automatic risk level based on configurable conditions in two dimensions: 1. Amount of open invoices and 2. Delay time on open invoices. This module also displays the credit position directly in the debtor follow-up in order to focus on the at-risk debtors.
MODULE+
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
- Install on 100% of your customer databases.
- Default recommended configuration: We recommend to put the value and date for all yof our customers with a high amount in credit limit and the average delay in allowed aged. This gives a good departure point to launch the module. Then, each time you have issue with this customer, it will be easy to adjust the cursor and decrease the credit limit if you think your exposure is too high, or decrease the allowed aged if your customer is not respecting the due date.
- Allowed aged: Should be used on all the customers in order for your sales team to get information that there is an issue with a customer.
OUR FEATURES AS SOLUTION
Set Sale Restriction
Customer Debtor Follow-Up
HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
1
Go to Sales → Orders → Customers. Create a new customer and go to the Sales & Purchases tab. Input the credit limit.
We have 5 types of sale restriction:
None: No credit limit
Block: Totally block the transaction
Value: Restricts the sale if the value of the transaction exceeds the credit limit.
Delay on overdue: Based on the aged receivable.
Value and Delay on overdue: Based on the value of the credit limit and aged receivable.
2
If the sale restriction is set to "Value and Delay on overdue", fill in the amount for the credit limit and choose the block level position.
3
In Accounting → Customers, we have the Customer Debtor Follow Up option. From this example, we can see:
The customer Lorenzo has a remaining credit limit and his oldest invoice age is 98 days, and he is in Position 4.
4
When a sales person (non sales admin user) creates a sales order for Lorenzo, and then confirms it, the sales order will automatically be sent for approval. This is because the sale amount is more than the credit limit amount, or there are some invoices that have not been paid in the block level position.
Additional stage Wait Approval is removed from module.
